BREAKING: COWBOYS OWNER JERRY JONES ISSUES POWERFUL STATEMENT AFTER RACIST INCIDENT AT AT&T STADIUM – PERMANENT BAN HANDED DOWN
ARLINGTON, Texas – Dallas Cowboys owner and general manager Jerry Jones released a blistering statement Sunday morning after a disturbing video surfaced from Saturday night’s Cowboys vs. Commanders game at AT&T Stadium, showing a female fan directing racist slurs at a U.S. Army veteran of Mexican descent who was simply trying to enjoy the game with his family.

The incident, which has already racked up 12 million views across social media, occurred in Section 118 during the third quarter when the woman became enraged over a seating dispute and unleashed a torrent of hate toward veteran Ricardo Morales, who served two tours in Afghanistan.
Jones wasted no time. The woman has been identified, located, and permanently banned from AT&T Stadium and all Cowboys-related events for life.
JERRY JONES’ FULL STATEMENT
“What happened last night at AT&T Stadium is completely unacceptable and goes against every single value we stand for as an organization and as Americans.
This isn’t just about fan conduct — this is about respecting a veteran who put his life on the line for our freedom. In the house that Cowboys built, in the great state of Texas, we do NOT tolerate hate, racism, or disrespect toward anyone — period.
That individual is no longer welcome here. Ever. The ban is permanent.
The Dallas Cowboys do not just play football in America — we represent America. And in our home, there is zero place for hatred.”
— Jerry Jones, Owner, President, and General Manager, Dallas Cowboys
THE INCIDENT
According to witnesses and the viral video, Morales — wearing his Operation Enduring Freedom veteran cap — politely asked the woman to stop standing in front of his young son. She responded with a string of racist remarks, including telling the Purple Heart recipient to “go back to Mexico.” Security escorted her out while the entire section stood and chanted “USA! USA!” in support of Morales.

COWBOYS NATION RESPONDS
The reaction was immediate and thunderous:
- Dak Prescott: “That man fought for our flag. We fight for him. Simple.”
- Micah Parsons: “Disrespect a vet in our house? Not on my watch. #Cow 0 tolerance”
- CeeDee Lamb: Posted a photo saluting Morales with the caption “Real heroes wear dog tags, not jerseys.”
The hashtag #CowboysStandUnited trended No. 1 nationwide within two hours.
A LARGER MESSAGE FROM JERRY
Speaking to reporters outside his private suite after the game, Jones — visibly emotional — doubled down:
“I’ve been in this league 36 years. I’ve seen a lot. But when you disrespect a man who served this country, you disrespect every single one of us. That’s not Cowboys football. That’s not Texas football. That’s not American football.”
The Cowboys organization has already reached out to the Morales family, offering lifetime season tickets in the Owner’s Suite and a personal meeting with Jerry, Dak, and the entire team.
AT&T Stadium — the biggest, boldest stage in sports — just sent the loudest message of the NFL season: In Dallas, hate doesn’t get a ticket.
