Pittsburgh Steelers get good and bad news with latest Saints, Raiders trade rumors… SOSAD

The Pittsburgh Steelers are rumored to be in the market for a wide receiver ahead of the Nov. 4 NFL trade deadline, and the team has regularly been linked to Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Jakobi Meyers and New Orleans Saints wideout Chris Olave via speculation.

Trade rumors have swirled around Meyers since the offseason, and for good reason. The veteran receiver requested a trade during the offseason after not getting an extension and it’s logical to believe the Raiders could move him before he potentially leaves for nothing in 2026.

Las Vegas is also sitting at 2-4 and their hopes of making the playoffs are slim, at best, which could lead to the Raiders being sellers and Meyers being jettisoned.

Meanwhile, the Saints are in an even worse spot at 1-5 and Olave is arguably their best trade asset. New Orleans desperately needs to kickstart a rebuild and acquiring what could be a Day 2 pick for the talented wideout would be a huge help.

Saints' Chris Olave Has Seen Multiple Specialists After Concussion, HC Rizzi Says

While the Steelers should have their eyes on both players, The Athletic’s Dianna Russini reports that the Saints are actually trying to extend Olave, which casts doubt on the team actually trading him.

“The Saints have been trying to work out a long-term contract for receiver Chris Olave despite his name being attached to teams looking for pass catchers,” she reported.

As for Meyers, there’s good news if the Steelers have interest: Russini reports that the Raiders are “open” to trading their top receiver.

“The Raiders are open to moving receiver Jakobi Meyers, while making calls on defensive linemen and corners,” Russini wrote.

The Saints really don’t have to be in a rush to trade Olave.

After all, he’s signed through 2026 and he’s only 25, so he’s young enough to be in their long-term plans. Furthermore, with two young quarterbacks, keeping Olave will help their development.

NFL Rumors: Jakobi Meyers Said Patriots Didn't Want Him Before Raiders Contract in FA

It’s a different story for Las Vegas and Meyers, who is in the final year of his deal. And, after being disgruntled over his contract situation, chances are Meyers isn’t going to be looking to be back in 2026, barring the Raiders having a change of heart that leads to them giving Meyers the bag.

Olave is the more ideal target considering his age, contract situation and the fact that he’s better than Meyers in general, but Meyers is no slouch and would be a massive upgrade for Pittsburgh next to DK Metcalf.

Meyers has posted four 800-yard seasons during his career, including a 1,000-yard campaign in 2024. Not elite production by any stretch, but he has routinely had to deal with awful quarterback play throughout his career. Aaron Rodgers would undoubtedly be the best quarterback Meyers has ever caught passes from.

If general manager Omar Khan can come away from the deadline with Meyers, it would be a massive win for the Steelers.

The U.S. Supreme Court has quietly announced a sealed ruling that has rocked Washington — and directly impacted Trump’s legal chamber. Trump is terrified.1Washington has been pulled tight like a drawn wire as leaked details of a secret Supreme Court decision suddenly spill into public view. There was no press conference. No official statement. Just a silent move powerful enough to shake the entire political system. According to what has been revealed, the Supreme Court issued a sealed subpoena aimed directly at Donald Trump. More importantly, the ruling came with a hard deadline. Seventy-two hours to comply. No extensions. No delays. The requested materials are believed to involve financial transactions, relationships with foreign individuals, and sensitive election-related information. Legal sources say this is not an ordinary case, but the result of a grand jury investigation that has been unfolding quietly for more than a year. The Supreme Court used rare authority to keep the entire process in the dark, signaling a level of seriousness tied to national security concerns. Trump is reported to have attempted to rely on presidential immunity and executive privilege, but those arguments were dismissed without fanfare. Once the case reached the Supreme Court, every delay tactic came to an abrupt end. This ruling leaves no legal escape hatch. The Court made one thing unmistakably clear. No individual, including a former president, stands above the law. The 72-hour deadline immediately threw Trump’s legal team into chaos. Some attorneys are reportedly considering withdrawal, fearing the legal consequences of continued resistance. Trump responded by attacking the justices and questioning the legitimacy of the ruling. Legal experts warn that such statements could expose him to contempt of court charges. For the first time in modern history, the possibility of a former president being detained before trial no longer feels unthinkable. Legal scholars have begun comparing the moment to the historic United States v. Nixon case. Public opinion is starting to shift, even among Republican voters, as the belief that “no one is above the law” gains traction. Trump now faces only two paths. Comply. Or confront the Supreme Court head-on. Both roads carry consequences that could permanently alter America’s political and legal landscape. The question hanging over everything is simple — and explosive. Will Donald Trump submit to the rule of law, or push the system toward an unprecedented constitutional crisis?
