Moments after the Green Bay Packers’ 13–16 loss to the Carolina Panthers, the postgame press conference took an emotional turn — quarterback Jordan Love abruptly walked out mid-interview

to check on his injured teammate, tight end Tucker Kraft.

Love had just started answering questions about the team’s offensive struggles when a staff member leaned in with an update on Kraft’s condition. Without a word, Love removed his mic, nodded to reporters, and walked out of the room, leaving the press stunned by the sudden exit.

Inside the locker area, Kraft was still undergoing medical evaluation after suffering a

gruesome-looking knee injury early in the third quarter. The tight end collapsed in pain after accidentally colliding with a teammate on a blocking play, before being carted off the field under a round of applause from both teams.

Before the injury, Kraft had recorded two receptions for 20 yards, continuing what had been a breakout campaign — 30 catches, 469 yards, and six touchdowns

entering Week 9. His chemistry with Love had been one of Green Bay’s few bright spots this season.

When Love later returned to the locker room, his focus wasn’t on the loss.

“Football’s bigger than numbers or standings,” Love said quietly. “Tuck’s my guy. When he went down, all I cared about was him. You never want to see that happen to someone who gives everything for this team.”

Team officials confirmed Love spent nearly 20 minutes in the medical room with Kraft before rejoining his teammates. According to sources, the quarterback appeared visibly shaken but wanted to show his support in person.
