The video shows Cam Heyward crashing down on Josh Allen after a physical tussle, and while buried under a 300-pound pile, Allen is seen driving his knee into Heyward’s abdomen.
Multiple angles, slow-motion replays, and sideline footage made the clip go viral instantly. After the game, Heyward publicly accused Allen of “personal provocation”, calling the move “unacceptable in the NFL.” Steelers Nation erupted, demanding an investigation and league discipline.
But the biggest twist came just hours after the game.
According to ESPN, shortly after leaving the postgame press room, Josh Allen ignored PR advice and walked directly to the Steelers’ locker room area. He knocked on the door, asked for permission to enter, and requested a private conversation with Cam Heyward — a move that stunned several Steelers players who witnessed it.
