Las Vegas, Nevada – 3/11/2025
The Las Vegas Raiders continue to sink after the 17–26 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars, dropping to a 2–6 record and nearly touching a disappointing season. But what shakes the NFL is not the score, but the latest move by defensive superstar Maxx Crosby.

Crosby, 28 years old, has been the heart of the Raiders’ defense for many years – selected to the All-Pro team twice, to the Pro Bowl four times, and he recorded 14.5 sacks in the 2024 season. But as the Raiders slump and the locker room gradually loses direction, he is said to be “extremely disappointed with the team’s direction.” An internal source described Crosby as “wanting to win – and he knows that won’t come soon in Las Vegas.”
In that context, the Buffalo Bills are said to have sent a “blockbuster” offer right before the trade deadline on 11/4 to bring Crosby to Buffalo. With urgent need after Michael Hoecht’s Achilles injury and ambitions to compete for the Super Bowl in the Josh Allen era, the Bills are seen as the “top candidate” if the Raiders give the green light.
According to sources, Buffalo’s offer package is enough for experts to describe as an “all-in move,” implying multiple early-round picks and a young defensive player.
The atmosphere in Buffalo has exploded on social media. Bills Mafia calls this a “game-changing move,” while experts warn that the AFC could “shift the power balance” if the deal is completed.
After the dramatic victory right before the trade deadline, head coach Sean McDermott was asked about the Crosby rumors. Though he did not confirm, his response seemed to open the door: “I always respect guys like Maxx – he’s not just good, he has the heart of a warrior. In Buffalo, we always keep the door open for players like that. And if he wants to fight for wins… he knows where to come.”
McDermott’s calm but highly suggestive tone caused fans to explode, viewing it as a “hint” that the Bills are truly acting.
If the deal happens, the Maxx Crosby – Ed Oliver duo will form one of the most fearsome pass-rush pairs in the AFC, placing Buffalo among the top contenders for the Super Bowl.
In Las Vegas, the silence is speaking volumes. The Raiders must choose: continue hoping for a long-term future or accept reality and exchange for maximum value?
And in Buffalo, the entire city is holding its breath — and waiting for the biggest “blockbuster” explosion of the 2025 trade period.
