The Green Bay Packers got the better of the Chicago Bears at Lambeau Field on Sunday, December 7, and superstar Micah Parsons wasn’t quiet about the win during the game or in the aftermath.
Parsons told reporters postgame about an exchange he had with Bears quarterback and former No. 1 pick Caleb Williams in the midst of the 28-21 victory.
“I just let him know, ‘You’re not running around me. You can outrun everyone around (the NFL), but…’” Parsons said, per Ryan Wood. “And I held to that the whole game. He did not beat me to the edge one time.”
Parsons finished the game with just one tackle and no sacks, though he did register two quarterback hits on Williams Sunday afternoon. Williams, meanwhile, completed 19-of-35 passes for two touchdowns and an interception in the end zone in the final seconds of the game that sealed the victory for Green Bay.
Micah Parsons Had Words for Bears Prior to Week 14 Matchup

GettyPass-rusher Micah Parsons of the Green Bay Packers had a lot to say before and after his team’s victory over the Chicago Bears in Week 14.
Parsons had a lot to say before the game against Chicago as well, criticizing the Bears locker room for some nebulous form of “disrespect” that he didn’t quite define.
“Rivalries are for the people, it’s for the fans. For me, it’s just going out there and just dominating. I just don’t like them because I just see like the disrespect,” Parsons said on Thursday. “I play for respect. You know how to earn someone’s respect is beating the [expletive] out of them.”
“You gotta go out there and take it. Respect is something that’s earned, and these people wanna come here and beat us in our house,” Parsons added. “Someone comes and [expletives] on your lawn, what are you gonna say?”
Packers Snapped Bears’ 5-Game Win Streak, Captured Division Lead With Victory on Sunday

The Packers accomplished a good deal by holding off the Bears in the fourth quarter, winning the first of two matchups between the teams over a 13-day span and capturing the NFC North Division lead with one month remaining in the season.
Green Bay (9-3-1) is now a half-game out of the No. 1 seed in the conference, behind both the Seattle Seahawks and Los Angeles Rams who are each 10-2. That said, the Packers face a relatively brutal schedule to finish the year.
They head west to play the Denver Broncos (11-2) next weekend. Denver is tied with the New England Patriots for the best record in the AFC and the league as a whole. Green Bay then travels to Soldier Field to take on the Bears on Saturday, December 20.
The Packers finish the season with a home game against the Baltimore Ravens, who are scratching and clawing for a playoff spot in the AFC North Division, in Week 17 before finishing the campaign on the road against the Minnesota Vikings, who broke a four-game losing streak Sunday with a 31-0 victory over the Washington Commanders.
